Description

Yarlington House is an elegant Georgian manor house built of mellow brick in classical style. Set in its own grounds of parkland it gives complete privacy and almost as far as the eye can see is yours for the day.

The combination of the house and grounds provides an idyllic setting for wedding receptions (or any other sort of enertainment) and it is licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

The Setting

The house is approached through the tree lined private drive and guests are immediately struck by the setting of the house in its spectacular gardens. These contribute much to the occasion and offer endless scope for memorable photographs.

Inside the house

The house is very adaptable for almost any form of entertainment. The principal rooms which may be used for wedding receptions, Civil Ceremonies etc are:

The Music Room - a spacious room with a high Jacobean style ceiling is decorated with classical paintings and other interesting artefacts. The windows are almost floor to ceiling which allows the light to flood in during the day and the windows look out on to the garden

The Dining Room with its tall Georgian windows looking out on to the garden make it light and airy. It is hung with tapestries and has other interesting furnishings.

Civil Ceremonies

The Music Room and The Dining Room are each licensed for 60 guests.

The Apple Pergola in the garden is also licenced for Civil Ceremonies and this makes a spectacular setting for the occasion.

Numbers

Numbers are fairly flexible but a marquee on the lawn can of course hold almost unlimited numbers.

Accommodation

Although there is no guest accommodation, a bedroom upstairs is available for the bride and groom to change in. This may at times be available for the bride and groom for their wedding night.
