Description

Holbrook House is a traditional Country House Hotel, set in seventeen acres of beautiful parkland and gardens. Boasting an award winning restaurant, luxury accommodation and a fully equipped Spa, Holbrook is the perfect place for a Magical Wedding.

Exclusive Use
Exclusive Use is available with the House, the Grounds and all Staff at your disposal for a stylish and memorable Country House Wedding.

This includes all 21 bedrooms, Full English Breakfast for all guests, the use of the main house, public rooms and bar, the gardens, lawns and terraces and use of the Holbrook Suite and Civil Ceremony room if needed. Your guests also have access to our Spa facilities during opening hours.

The evening party can take place in the main Manor House when booking the house on an exclusive use basis.

Non Exclusive Use Weddings
At Holbrook we have no less than five different licensed spaces for Civil Marriage Ceremonies and a choice of rooms for your Wedding Breakfast and evening celebrations where we can cater up to 140 guests.

You also have the option of having a traditional Marquee Wedding on our lovely 'Tennis Lawn' overlooking the house catering up to 250 guests.

Dorset
Located in the main Georgian Manor House, this room has a light and airy feel with a beautiful fire place and an impressive chandelier. The room has stunning views of the gardens where direct access to the terrace and grounds can be enjoyed for pre and post Ceremony drinks and photographs. This is a lovely room for either a Civil Ceremony or an intimate Wedding Breakfast. Suitable for up to 60 guests for the ceremony and up to 50 for a Wedding Breakfast.

Somerset
Also located in the main Manor House, this room is similar in size to the Dorset room and also has two ornate pillars and a beautiful large mirror. The Somerset room also has stunning views with direct access to the terrace and grounds for photographs and drinks. This room can hold 60 guests for the ceremony and up to 35 for a wedding breakfast.

Holbrook Suite
This is our largest function room located adjacent to our Spa. This room is completely self contained with a private bar, bathrooms, and cloakroom, and large patio doors leading out to a private terrace. This room is the perfect venue for a Wedding Breakfast followed by an evening reception (if you choose not to book the hotel exclusively).
Up to 140 seated guests can attend the ceremony or more if standing. It is suitable for up to 130 guests for the Wedding Breakfast and up to 250 guests for the evening party.

Summer House
One for Spring and Summer Weddings only! Our Summer House is small but very pretty, surrounded by exquisite flowers and plants. There is only room for a small number inside the Summer House, however further guests may be seated outside on the lawns looking on.

Morning Room
Located in the main Manor House, this room is beautifully furnished with windows on two sides and lovely views of our grounds. Again, this room also has direct access to the terrace and grounds for photographs and drinks.
This room is only suitable for the ceremony for up to 30 seated guests or more if standing.

Marquee
Our lovely ‘Tennis Lawn’ is the ideal location for marquees of all shapes and sizes. This area has a beautiful view looking back at the Manor House. A marquee can be used for the Wedding Breakfast or a ‘Humanist Ceremony’ if you prefer to be outdoors.
Up to 250 guests can be accommodated for the ceremony and/or reception.

Holbrook House offers a full Wedding Co-ordination service at no extra charge.
