For nearly 400 years Lulworth Castle has played host to an impressive array of guests and has entertained no less than 7 monarchs. Today, the Castle retains a wealth of history and its natural state provides the most spectacular setting for the special day. Set in some 12 000 acres of extensive parkland, woods and farmland with breathtaking views across the Purbecks and The World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Lulworth will make it a day to remember.

The civil marriage license enables couples to make their vows and celebrate in the splendid setting of the Castle, or applications can be made for the use of St Andrews Church or The RC Chapel of St Mary in the grounds.

Lulworth Castle is as unique as the venue itself and the open plan interior provides the perfect backdrop for the guest’s exclusive use and a wedding tailored to individual requirements.

The Castle and Castle Lawn Marquee will be packed full of stylish, contemporary and independent exhibitors profiling an abundance of wedding ideas, including a planning service from the Lulworth Team.
Don’t miss the Bridal Show where beautiful gowns and wedding attire will be on show for your special day.

There is a special admission price of £4 (under 16’s free), with plenty of free parking and you will have the opportunity to wander through the grounds to St Mary’s Catholic Chapel and St Andrews C of E Church situated either side of the Castle, and enjoy the extensive parkland with breathtaking views across the Purbecks to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The licensed Stable Café will be open for refreshments.
