Despite the privacy offered by this unique Cornish venue, the estate is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Plymouth and its exceptional transport links.

Exclusive Use
Get married in Cornwall and have your wedding party to stay with you in our nine en-suite bedrooms. Pentillie Castle is exclusively yours for the duration of your wedding. Pentillie’s bathing hut offers a romantic setting for a pre-wedding dinner or possibly a picnic for all your guests the day after.

Civil Weddings and Partnerships
The dining room, drawing room and morning room are all licensed for indoor civil ceremonies of up to 60 guests.

If you would prefer an outdoor wedding, you can get married in the Bathing Hut offering a romantic and intimate setting on the banks of the River Tamar. The loggia on the south terrace is also available which has wonderful views. We can erect a marquee to fit over the loggia should you wish to pre-empt the sometimes unpredictable English summer weather!

Wedding Reception
Receptions can be organised both inside the castle and outside in the gardens.

The dining room can seat up to 60 for a wedding breakfast. A wedding reception for up to 250 guests can be organised on the terrace lawn. Alternatively, if you choose to marry under the loggia a marquee can be erected alongside it to seat 120 for a wedding breakfast.
