Our 4 Star family owned Hotel is set in outstanding unspoilt countryside near Salcombe in South Devon. With truly glorious uninterrupted views down to our sandy beach at Soar Mill Cove, the hotel has one of the best settings of any hotel in the country.

Soar Mill Cove is the perfect setting for your wedding reception or civil ceremony and offers a romantic & sophisticated venue overlooking the sea.

Our rooms have been designed for maximum comfort with private terraces leading into the hotel's gardens offering the perfect backdrop for photographs. Our professional team pride themselves on the quality of service and the family friendly informal atmosphere at the hotel.

Exclusive Use
Enjoy exclusive use of the hotel from 2.00 on the day of your arrival until 11.00 on the day of your departure. The minimum stay over a weekend is 2 nights. The rate agreed includes the exclusive use of our 22 comfortable bedrooms and luxury suites as well a complimentary use of the leisure facilities. Full Devonshire Breakfast is included as well as tea on arrival.

Licensed Ceremonies
From 2009 we are introducing the facility to host Civil Ceremonies.

We have three possible venues for your ceremony and/or reception:

Serendipity: Our largest and most popular venue with maximum flexibility to open up all or some rooms while keeping some for dancing and/or the ceremony. You and your guests can enjoy the wonderful sea views from this venue. Catering for up to 100 for a civil ceremony and up to 150 for the wedding breakfast.

The Sun Lounge: As the name suggests a great venue to enjoy the sunsets. It can cater for 50 people at the ceremony and 80 for the Wedding Breakfast.

Marquee
We can provide a fully serviced marquee with window walls overlooking the bay catering for up to a maximum of 300 guests.

Accommodation
We have 22 comfortable rooms including feature rooms, junior suite, and family suites. They are all furnished to a high standard as befitting a 4 Star hotel and are all individual in style but all share room service, full access to the pools and other leisure facilities as well as a free DVD library for your guests enjoyment.

Maximum occupancy is 44 adults based on double occupancy + up to 24 children or extra guests depending on use.
