Description
The Jive Jacks is a six piece live band playing a wide range of musical styles from up-tempo Jive/Swing, Rock & Roll, Soul, Latin, and African Jazz.The Jive Jacks will travel anywhere in the South West and also take bookings in the London area.
The music played is a varied mixture of up-tempo well loved numbers... there are swing standards(Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday), jump-jive swing (Louis Jordan, Louis Prima) and some good old fashioned Rock n' Roll (Chuck Berry, Little Richard). Add some Soul (Aretha Frankin, Van Morrison) some Latin (Salsa, Samba, Bossa, Tango) and some African sounds (Hugh Musekela, Abdullah Ibriahim) and you end up ...well dancing the night away.
