Weddings at the White Hart Hotel are truly romantic and unique in many ways. Set amongst the outstanding natural beauty of Dartmoor and beautiful Devon countryside, the White Hart hotel can make wishes come true. We can offer wedding photos and drinks receptions on the moor to create a bespoke day of celebration, followed by your own exclusive event room and en-suite accommodation. With a variety of catering arrangements available from a buffet to the cake stand, impressive drink receptions and reception parties, our chef will be delighted to discuss your menu and catering requirements in full. We promise to make your beautiful day, a day to remember.

Civil Ceremonies
The White Hart Hotel is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. The hotel can cater for up to 55 people seated for the wedding breakfast, and up to 120 for the evening function spread throughout the ground floor.

Available on a complimentary basis

Hotel Accommodation
28 En-suite bedrooms. All bedrooms have recently been refurbished and offer hairdryer, flat screen TV's, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones and trouser press.

Wedding Drinks and Photo Receptions on the Moor
The National Park all around the town of Moretonhampstead provides wonderful settings that the hotel can recommend for photographs and we are also delighted to be able to offer an outside drinks reception at the following locations:
Butterdon & Mardon Downs
North Bovey Village Green
The Garden at the Sandy Park Inn, Chagford
or in the courtyard garden at the White Hart.

Menu
There are three set menus to choose from but these can be varied to suit your requirements. In addition there is a two course children's menu and a buffet menu for the evening guests.
