
Choosing Your Wedding Flowers
Once you have chosen your venue, and decided on your dress it is time to consider your choice of wedding flowers. If you have already decided what colour your bridesmaids will be wearing this will be an important consideration in your choice of flowers it may be that you already have a specific colour scheme in mind. The time of year you are getting married can help inform your choice of flowers think about what flowers are in season. In spring there is an abundance of blues and yellows, it summer you will find vibrant pinks and oranges. Opting for flowers that are in season will help keep your costs down, if you have a tight budget focus on your wedding bouquet and a few displays to enhance the look of your venue and any which play a key part in your wedding photographs.

You may already have a florist in mind, but if not, visiting local wedding fairs can be a good opportunity to meet with some local florists and view their albums of previous displays. Then arrange a consultation with your chosen florist to discuss your wedding theme and colour scheme. She will be able to help you co-ordinate your flowers if possible visit the venue with her or at least provide photos or view the venues website together to help decide where displays will make the most impact it may be that she is already familiar with your chosen venue. After this your florist should be able to give you an initial estimate of the likely costs if you have been extravagant she will be able to help you revise your plans to fit in with your budget.
