The West Country Wedding Guide
The West Country Wedding Guide was established in September 2007. We now have nearly 200 advertisers featuring venues and wedding services across the UK. So whether you are deciding on a wedding venue, choosing a wedding dress, or finding finding the best local photographer and florist, the West Country Wedding Guide is the place to start.
About The Guide
Since the site was launched we have been actively promoting the Wedding Guide in regional Bridal magazines and bridal fayes across the West Country.
Now that the online guide is well established with over 6000 unique visitors every month spending an average of 15 minutes browsing the various venues and services we have been looking at other ways to raise our profile. We have recently established a West Country Wedding Guide forum and a profile on Facebook. In addition we have added a competition page with a new competition to enter every month where brides can also opt in to receive additional information from advertisers.
We are now in the process of launching a Wedding Brochure for the Autumn. We are printing 10,000 to be distributed free of charge through bridal shops, at Wedding Fairs and to be posted out on request via enquiries from the website. In short almost every bride in the West Country should be able to get a copy!

Wedding Fair
We are currently making plans to organise our first Wedding Fair at Lakeview Manor, near Honiton in Devon on the 21st March 2010. Lakeview Manor, previously known as Fishponds Hotel, is under new management and offers a beautiful setting for a wedding for up to 150 guests. The Wedding Fair will have approximately 40 exhibitors. Stands are £120 and include a complimentary 12 month listing on the website (discounts available to current advertisers). Contact us for more details and to reserve your space.
